| Arthur Wedding Reception |
Magick Mirror Designs was asked to consult on the décor, create the centrepieces, and decorate the tent area. The theme was royal blue and bright yellow and the bride wanted the decor to be simplistic and summery. We chose chrysanthemums, calla lilies, and delphiniums for the centrepieces, as well as ivy and lights for the tent décor.

| DX Black & White Gala – Feel This |
After several years of volunteering for the Design Exchange Gala, Ms. Stechyshyn was asked to be a part of the Gala Committee for 2007.
Her role was to help coordinate the extremely popular silent auction, which included items such as jewelry, furniture, clothing, and even a large cowhide! She also sat in on some of the design meetings with the Seneca Event Management students, as well as the regular gala planning meetings. |

| Fusion – Where Science Meets Art |
Learning Through the Arts, a branch of the Royal Conservatory of Music, held their inaugural fundraiser at the Capitol Event Theatre.
As the sole design consultant, Ms. Stechyshyn gave life to the art/science theme and martini glass logo with bright coloured lights, flask-like vases with glowing contents, and a large martini glass with a fabulous sparkling fabric backdrop. |

| Scarlett Ball |
This was the 2nd year of West Park Health Care Centre's very popular event, the Scarlett Ball, with the theme “It's Gonna Be Hot”- and it was!
The most unique addition to the event was the Hot Shoppe Marketplace- an indoor bazaar where guests could shop for dozens of unique items for the holidays. Our role for this event was to find vendors, create decor, and supervise the Seneca students helping with the event. |

| Bloor Street Entertains |
This was the 10th year of the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research's event Bloor Street Entertains, and its Gala party was held at the Royal Ontario Museum. The theme was all about ice, stars, and celebrating this milestone anniversary.
Ms. Stechyshyn was part of the design team that chose and created this theme, from the icy centrepieces and urns, to the large, sparkling 10 in the Rotunda. During the set-up, she was also in charge of directing the Silent Auction volunteers

| DX Black & White Gala |
The Design Exchange's Black and White Gala went blue in 2006- Steel Blue, in fact! Tying in the Art Deco style of the venue, as well as throwing heavy doses of industrial flare created a wonderfully stylish fundraiser for young designers in TO.
The decor included steel sculptures and chandeliers made by Gregory Robbins, an interactive 'jail' that once could throw friends into, and an actual car frame suspended above the guests on the Trading Floor. Many of these elements were built and chosen by Ms. Stechyshyn and her colleagues.

| Unmasked |
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) held their inaugural fundraiser, Unmasked at The Drake Hotel. Inspired by Fornasetti and venetian masks, the Drake was tranformed into a whimsical party, filled with colourful wood dolls, hot air balloons, pennants, and large masks that were created with Queen West in mind!
Our contribution to this event was decor research, creation, and set-up. One of the pieces of decor we created was a large mask called 'Gothic Chic', paying tribute to Queen West's reputation as home to the Toronto Goth scene.

| Best Buddies – Thrill of the Ascot |
Father's Day was celebrated a little differently in 2006 when Best Buddies decided to throw their 'Thrill of the Ascot' party down at Woodbine Racetrack.
Based on Ladies Day at Ascot, the tent was decorated in the traditional black, white, and pink colours and every table had unique hat centrepiece created by Ms. Stechyshyn and her colleagues. That year, there was a hat design competition and her centrepiece hat won 2nd place. |
